Hop (2011)

Hop The basic story
E.B is a bunny, destined to become the Easter Bunny, like his father, his grandfather, his great grandfather etc. before him. That however is not the destiny E.B. has in mind, he wants to be a drummer, and so he run away to Hollywood. Fred, who is an unemployed slacker, is looking for a job and a place to stay. The evening he is thrown out of his parent's house (they want him to start getting his act together), he accidentally hit E.B. with his car, while on the way to a house he is supposed to look after for a while. Feeling guilty for hitting E.B., Fred takes him in and tries to help him. While helping E.B., Fred finds out that what he want, is to become the next Easter Bunny, since E.B. doesn't want the job.

Meanwhile back at Easter Island (where the bunny workshop is) the chicken Carlos, is trying take the role of being the Easter Bunny by a coup d'etat.

How was it?
Bland and mediocre. E.B. is mostly annoying, rather than funny, and the few funny things in the movie are things we've seen before, often done better. David Hasselhoff as a talent scout is rather entertaining. If not for him, the movie would only have gotten two stars. Other than that, the movie is just one sappy cliche after another, waiting to be done, so the movie can end.
