Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb (2014)

Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb The basic story
The tablet that keeps Ahkmenrah (and the other exhibits at the museum) alive, starts degrading, and suddenly things start to get out of control. Not knowing what to do, Larry Daly and Ahkmerah have to go to Ahkmenrah's father for help. Unfortunately he is in London, so Larry and Ahkmerah take a trip to London.

A few stowaways and the exhibits at the London Museum, a bit confused by the awakening, makes this simple task a bit of a challenge.

How was it?
Entertaining! If you like the first two movies, you will most likely enjoy the third movie (and vice versa). Lots of gags, lots of nice effects, a thin but cohesive story going binding it all together. The British nightwatch Tilly was a bit annoying on occasion, and not all that funny, but in general the movie worked really well.

They did some nice father and son stories in the movie and moved the concept along, instead of just going around in circles. Also we saw the three old nightwatchmen from the first movie in a short but important part of the movie.

All in all, a solid and entertaining movie.
