Taken 3 (2014)

Taken 3 The basic story
After the events in the first two movies, life goes on. Bryan is still part of the security group of ex-CIA operatives. His daughter Kim finds out that she is pregnant. His ex-wife Lenora's marriage is in ruins, so she is turning to him. Things are about to change in Bryan's life, possibly for the better.

Then bad things start to happen. Bryan comes home, finds Lenora murdered, and the police on the way, and the chase is on. Who killed her and framed him, and why?

How was it?
Boring and predictable for the most part. Slightly whiny and sappy. For an action movie, I expect the action to start a lot sooner than after about 40 minutes. The plot did not make much sense. Neither did many of the things the characters did. It wasn't a disaster, but is wasn't clever or intriguing either, like it was supposed to be. Some of the action sequences were quite good, but not enough to save the movie.

So, in my opinion, this is the type of movie you watch, if you really need to watch everything in an otherwise excellent series, or nobody warned you how bad it was, compared to the first two movies. If you are looking for a GOOD action movie, there is plenty of other movies fitting that description.
