Mannequin 2: On the Move (1991)

Mannequin 2 The basic story
Jessie is a peasant girl in love with Prince William. Right before their wedding, she is given a magical necklace by the evil sorcerer and turns into a statue. She spends the next thousand years as a statue before being transported to America for an exhibition. In America the young intern at the department store where the statue is going to be exhibited, Jason, can temporarily lift the curse and make her alive again. With her prince long gone, can she find love in the new world and have the curse lifted for good... e.g. by the handsome young Jason who looks exactly like Prince William?

How was it?
Mediocre. Predictable and slightly entertaining. Meshach Taylor as Hollywood Montrose is rather entertaining, like he was in the first Mannequin, but other than that, this movie is mostly for completists who has to see the sequels. On a day with nothing to do and nothing better on TV, it can be used for passing time.
