Site History 2014

December 29, 2014: Sometimes it feels like I didn't do all that much with the site in 2014, but traffic is up with more than 50% compared to 2013, and I have been digitizing some rather long books, which is rather time consuming. All things considered, I have to say that it has been a rather good year on the site.

Well, 2015, here we come! The Danish author Kaj Munch, who was shot by the Nazi in 1944, is public domain in a couple of days, and I have his last poems ready for upload... I have been looking forward to this, as he is a rather important author in Danish literature.

July 30, 2014: Over the years I've received a lot of jokes, and for the most part I've just saved them. I have been putting some of the Danish jokes on the site, but it has not been a priority to get them on the site. Now I've started on the English jokes. Like the Danish jokes, it is not a priority, but I may as well put them out there, as I clean up my mail database.

March 4, 2014: Busy couple of weeks. I've just registered three e-Books in two formats with the ISBN registry for digital publications.

I haven't decided whether I want other non-public domain stories on the site. If there is an interest, which I doubt, I guess it would be okay.

January 25, 2014: The site was designed for public domain texts, and so far the content has been public domain. Over the years I've written some stories and articles, some of which have been published, but for the most part they have just been lying on my computer. After some consideration I've decided to upload them on this site. For some reason I've been a little apprehensive about publishing my articles and stories, but it occurred to me that it was rather silly. I have literally thousands of pages with my writing about chemistry, programming, comics and pop-cultural history on my other sites, and have had so since 2003... being bashful about the articles and short stories really is silly.

I haven't decided whether I want other non-public domain stories on the site. If there is an interest, which I doubt, I guess it would be okay.

January 10, 2014: 2014 is going ahead at a nice pace. Just updating parts of the site, like the site history here, switching to 2014.
