Story: Hart Druiter was a resident of the planet Myar (a wold know for its alchemists), who developed a formula that gave him the ability to adapt to any adversary he might encounter [Adventure Comics #346]. The details have not been revealed, but he made a deal with the Khunds to destroy Earth's defences in return for riches [Adventure Comics #347]. To do this, he took the name Nemesis Kid, and became one of the applicants for the Legion of Super-Heroes along with Karate Kid, Ferro Lad and Princess Projectra [Adventure Comics #346]. He was accepted into the Legion but was soon revealed as a traitor [Adventure Comics #347].

Nemesis Kid became the leader of the Legion of Super-Villains in 2984, and decided to get his own world somewhere without a Legion of Super-Heroes. For this purpose he selected the planet Orando. He and his Legion conquered Orando [Legion of Super-Heroes (1984 series) #2], and moved the planet into Limbo between dimensions [Legion of Super-Heroes (1984 series) #3]. His plans were foiled when Karate Kid broke out of his shackles an freed the other prisoners. In the subsequent fight between Karate Kid and Nemesis Kid, Nemesis Kid killed Karate Kid [Legion of Super-Heroes (1984 series) #4]. Karate Kid's wife Queen Projectra fought him right after, and killed him with her bare hands [Legion of Super-Heroes (1984 series) #5].


Skills & abilities: Nemesis Kid can instantly adapt a specific power or skill that could enable him to defeat any given opponent. There are some limitations to his powers e.g. multiple adversaries in which case his power either allow him to flee or fail him.
