Background notes: Contrary to many other golden age heroes, Batman continued and thus there is no clear point in publication where the golden age Batman changes into the silver age Batman, i.e. where Earth-2 Batman stops and Earth-1 Batman begins. This lack of a clearly defined switch also applies for Batman's villains and supporting cast.

The identity as Starman was only pre-crisis Detective (Comics #247). Post-crisis this was retconned to David Knight.
