Story: Only very little was revealed about Vincent Crabbe. He started at Hogwarts in 1992, at the same time as Harry Potter. Here he was selected for the Slytherin House and teamed up with Draco Malfoy and Gregory Goyle [1]. He stayed with the two, for the whole time he was at the school.

In his fifth year Crabbe was made a Beater on the Slytherin Quidditch team, where it appears he did reasonably well. Also in that year, he became a member of Dolores Umbridge's Inquisitorial Squad, along with Malfoy and most likely also Goyle [2].

In his seventh year at Hogwarts, Crabbe excelled at using the Cruciatus Curse to torture students who had been put in detention. He died at the end of the school year when his spell got out of control. He, Malfoy, and Goyle met Harry, Ron, and Hermione searching for Voldemort's diadem Horcrux shortly before the Battle of Hogwarts. In the fight that took place in the Room of Requirement Crabbe used a Fiendfyre spell which killed himself and nearly also Malfoy and Goyle [3].
