Story: Not much has been revealed about Tirynth. As a young man he was apparently close to Vashti and he got the scars across his left eye from a fight with another dragon at the time [Dragon Cross #7].

For reasons not yet revealed, Tirynth was imprisoned for 15 years before being released by Bronze to hunt down execute the death sentence on Vashti and her brothers [Dragon Cross #7].
