Story: Kayo was a part of the original Brigade, started by Battlestone. When Brigade was disbanded after a failed mission, Kayo stayed to help Battlestone start the second incarnation of Brigade [1].

Shortly after the Blood Brothers incident Kayo left Brigade to take care of some family business in Japan [3]. He tried to steal a power orb from Toshiro Soroyama, and was captured. He was saved by Lethal, Brigade and WildC.A.T.S who were also trying to get the power orb. Returning to America he rejoined Brigade [4,5].

Kayo was killed by Crypt when Crypt attacked Brigade [6].

Note: An out-of-continuity story show Kayo, Coldsnap and Thermal to be alive and Lethal back in her proper place in time [7].
