Story: Kaitlin was among the Bloodpool candidates, when she was told that she was a nu-gene-positive. With the help of Dr. Vanessa Wayland, from the Youngblood training program, she was directed towards David Proctor when he had to reform the New Men during Quamtum's attack [4].

After the threat from Quantum had been removed, Crusible did not join the New Men but joined Brigade instead [1]. When Battlestone was believed dead, Crusible looked thru his memorabilia. Among the photos she found a picture of her mother being married to Quantum, and realized that Quantum had to be her father [2].

Crusible was killed by Crypt in his attack on Brigade [3].


Skills & abilities: Crusible can alter the probabilities around a person causing bad luck for the recipient. The result and magnitude is random but usually results in foiling whatever the recipient is doing.
