Story: The man who became Die-hard was chosen in the 1940's to become the first of the U.S. government's genetic experiments, and is believed to be the first successful fusion af man and machine. Die-hard has been in all the incarnations of Youngblod [1]. Generally he has been percieved more as a combat unit than as a man and has therefore mostly been assigned for suicide missions [3]. The golden age Die-Hard is supposed to be dead [2].


Skills & abilities: Enhanced strength and endurance. Die-hard is skilled in hand-to-hand combat. Die-hard is a cyborg, and is able to download his memory and brain waves to other Die-hard units [3].
Equipment: Die-hard carries a shield, which is attached to his back when not in use.
