Story: Thomas was a classic underachiever, failing most of his classes and feeling isolated from other kids his age. Boredom and frustration eventually led him to his father's lab where, in a desperate move, he swallowed a vile of secret genetic material created by his father. The material restructured Thomas' DNA, transforming his skin into a granite-like organic rock. Thomas was immediately moved to a high-secure research facility for further study by his father [5].

After learning how to control his power, Thomas was recruited by Youngblood where he was assigned to Youngblood's domestic team [5].

When Youngblood was discontinued after the death of Riptide [2] Badrock took some time off. It didn't last long though. Thru a series of events, he became a part of the fourth incarnation of Brigade [1].

In the year 3000, Badrock was still alive and returned for a brief period to get some help from Youngblood to stop the Katellans [3]. The continued presence of the Katellans to get Combat back led to the destruction of Earth, Katella and Acura in Badrock's timeline. Badrock had therefore returned to 1995 to prevent this from happening. The mission succeeded [4]. What happened to Badrock after this is unknown.


Skills & abilities: Superhuman strength and durability, enhanced reflexes. His granite-like skin makes him nearly invulnerable [5].
