Story: Johnny Savoy lived among the humans as the leader of the band Johnny Savoy and the Living Dead and apparently wasn't a big part of what was going on in the Vampire Nation. As a possible heir to the throne, Drakken who wanted to be the new king of the Vampire Nation wanted him dead, so his minions attacked Savoy during a concert at the Madison Square Garden. He was saved by WetWorks who were fighting both the Vampire Nation and Drakken [1]. This made Savoy enter the fight with Drakken, though they didn't succeed in stopping Drakken from taking the throne [2]. The details have not been revealed, but Savoy ended up at his father Lord Dominus' stronghold [3].

When Lord Dominus started carrying out his plans to kill all the vampires that were not true vampires [3], Dragoness could see that this was wrong and arranged for WetWorks and her brother Johnny Savoy to help her stop him [4]. Her army, led by Raithan attacked Lord Dominus and in a joint effort, she, Savoy and WetWorks succeeded in killing Lord Dominus and save the Vampire Nation [5].

Later when Drakken tried to take over the United States, he tried to make Savoy betray his people. Instead of betraying his people however, Savoy fooled Drakken into believing he was on his side and helped bringing Drakken down [6]. This made him king of the Vampire Nation.

Savoy was not seen again until he decided to help Simon Vascar on his quest for the power of the Blood Box in return for ruling the humans also [7]. With an army of vampires enhanced by the Blood Box, Savoy broke the truce with the humans and started attacking [8]. He was killed in a fight with Jackson Dane who dropped a gunship on him [9].
