Story: Jeff Terrell was an elite FBI operative. Due to his strong leadership abilities and good looks he was chosen as leader of the Youngblood "home"-team and replaced the more intensely-driven Battlestone. When he joined Youngblood he took the name Shaft [3].

When Battlestone took over the team after Crypt's attack, the first thing that happened was Battlestone firing Shaft as team leader [2].

After the death of Riptide and the discontinuation of Youngblood, Waxey Doyle wanted to start a new Youngblood which he did, along with Shaft [1].


Skills & abilities: Shaft is a master of ballistic weapons. His weapon of choice is a bow based on Katellan technology. Shaft is also proficient in a wide variety of fighting techniques [3].
Equipment: Shaft carries a bow based on Katellan anti-gravity technology and specialty arrows [3].
