Story: Boomer O'Shea was a beach bum who lived with his father. His father was a mad scientist who was working on a growth serum to make a suitable body for the destroyer Korvus who had lost a physical form in a fight. One day in 1992 he had the serum and Korvus made him use it on Boomer. Boomer's body grew and Korvus took over the body, releasing his hold on Dr. O'Shea long enough for O'Shea to attack. In the fight, the house started to burn, ending with Dr. O'Shea dying, Boomer's body horribly burned and Korvus forced out of his new body due to the pain [2].

When he woke up, he was contacted by CyberData who offered to help him. Boomer took the offer and was given a new metallic skin and a Brain Box to keep him loyal. In the process they also took away his memories. He became a member CyberData's S.H.O.C. troops with the codename Impact [2].

Impact was with CyberData until Dr. Corben removed the Brain Box and set his mind free. Along with the other freed operatives he formed Cyber Force [2].

Boomer stayed with the team and was last seen when Cyber Force saved Cyblade's brother in Chalenne [1].
